I am the teacher of room 4.
Who is your teacher?
Kia ora! Hello!
This is a slideshow to show you how my year went.
Hello,
I have been learning how to use emoji kitchen. I have made lots of new emojis that I really like.
I really enjoyed putting different pictures together to create a new image.
To get to emoji kitchen, go to google, and search emoji kitchen. Then click “get cooking”. It will come up with the emojis to combine together.
Comment if you have ever used emoji kitchen before. If you have, add some of your new emojis you created.
Here are some of mine.

Ka kete.
Hi! Kia Ora!
Today I am going to share with you what I have been learning about in science.
As you can see in my video we did the dancing raisins experiment.
One of the best things I learnt was how to take a video of the raisins dancing.
To make dancing raisins, we had to get a glass, soda water and raisins. We have to put the soda water into the glass, then add the raisins. We then made the raisins dance with the bubbles of the soda.
Comment if you have ever made dancing raisins or any other science experiment.
Bye for now.
Here are some students work with their video of Dancing Raisins.
Hello
Today I am going to share with you what I have been learning about.
This term we are doing science with procredure writing. We had to write a procedure about how to make a volcano first, then, we had to make our volcono.
After we made our volcano we used vinegar and baking soda to make them explode.

Today I am going to share with you about what I have been learning about. We have been doing measurement with science. We made chocolate chip muffins.
The challenging part of making the chocolate chip muffins was making sure we had melted the butter. On the first attempt the teacher forgot to melt the butter and just put it in. We realised this was wrong and we had to start again.
We then used science to analyze the muffins. We used our senses to look at the muffin. We used to look, see, hear, smell and taste.
Have you ever done baking in the classroom? What was that like?
Ka Kete.

Hello
I have been learning how to make 3D shapes with a net.
One of the best things I learned was to make a cube, cuboid, and square based pyramid. 3D shapes have edges, vertices and faces.
Comment if you have ever made 3D shapes before.
Bye for now.
